_Alice is a nationally recognized expert in risk management, regulatory compliance, governance, and crisis response with more than 30 years of experience advising financial institutions, fintechs, corporate boards, and government agencies. She has extensive expertise helping organizations navigate complex regulatory environments, strengthen enterprise risk management, and respond to strategic and operational challenges.

Alice currently serves as an independent director of Globe Life, Inc., where she is a member of the Audit Committee. She also chairs the Risk Committee and serves on the Audit Committee of the board at First Interstate BancSystem and is a board advisor to Revolut U.S. She is a designated audit committee financial expert.

Previously, Alice advised Boston Consulting Group and its clients—including major financial institutions, government-sponsored enterprises, private equity firms, and technology companies—on strategic and risk management matters. Prior to that, she served as company advisor to Varo, where she helped design the company's risk and compliance framework and played a key role in its successful pursuit of the nation's first fintech federal banking charter.

Earlier in her career, Alice was a Managing Director at Promontory Financial Group, where she advised global systemically important banks, large financial institutions, and fintech companies on enterprise risk management, audit, governance, and regulatory matters. She also served as Director at BITS, the technology policy division of the Bank Policy Institute, leading industry initiatives related to emerging banking technologies, including mobile and online banking.

Alice began her career in public service, serving as Special Assistant to the Vice Chair of the Federal Reserve Board, where she advised on banking regulation, bank applications, and the U.S. payments system. She also served in the White House Office of Management and Budget, evaluating the budgetary and economic impacts of banking policy in consultation with senior White House and Treasury officials.

Alice earned a B.A. in Economics from Whitman College and an A.M. in Public Policy from the University of Chicago. Her writing has appeared through the Brookings Institution and in American Banker. She serves on the Harris Council at the University of Chicago, is a member of the Council of Korean-Americans, a founding member of Extraordinary Women on Boards, and a co-founder of Allrise SF, an organization dedicated to advancing women's careers in financial services and technology.
