_Ray joined Ludwig Advisors after serving as a Managing Director with Promontory, a business unit of IBM Consulting. While there he served as co-head of their digital asset practice, working with clients on large-scale program design and management at the intersection of regulation, risk, and technology. His current areas of focus include cryptocurrency regulation and risk, cloud adoption, risk data governance, operational and IT risk management, and large-scale risk and compliance planning and execution.

Representative Engagements Include:

• Working with a major bank on a successful cognitive model for AML customer due diligence.
• Assisting a US superregional bank in developing its framework for operational risk management and its approach to risk and control self assessments (RCSA).
• Conducting risk assessments to improve risk assessment tool methodology, and risk reporting functions at several financial institutions.
• Leading a project for a financial mark utility defining and implementing a new information-security program.
• Leading the development of a major IT risk management program for a rapidly growing US bank facing regulatory issues.
